I love the Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet because it offers the flexibility that I need to lose the weight without starving myself and fighting cravings.
What I Learned From Fat Loss 4 Idiots: Shifting Calories
I honestly thought that food was my enemy. I guess that is the common misconception about weight loss, as well. It’s not the food that is the enemy, because low calorie diets did not work for me. Low calorie diets don’t work for a lot of people. If they did, then nobody would be looking for another solution.
The secret is in shifting calories.
Research, analysis, and trial and error, combined, have led to the discovery: if you “trick” your body by shifting caloric intake on certain days, you will confuse your metabolism. The metabolism is one smart mechanism, as it picks up caloric deficits and lowers the rate at which it processes calories in order to prevent starvation. That’s why most diets don’t work! I loved that the diet was flexible in this way, because all of the other diets that I tried detailed strict meal plans, and although many had alternatives for their meal plans, I still had trouble finding a meal plan diet that I enjoyed eating.
You will be expected to drink a lot of water. I’m not a huge fan of drinking water, but I know that my body needs it and water does aid in losing weight, so I forced myself to drink the water that was required. My body actually craves water now, believe it or not.
If you like wine, like I do, you are actually allowed to have a glass of wine per day. This is another no-no for most diets!
A Little Bit of Exercise Will Be Required
Yes, you will need to exercise, but walking is the only form of exercise that you will be required to do. Not weight lifting, no running, no hard, long workouts at the gym. Just walk. I can do that.. anyone can do that.
Use Fat Loss 4 Idiots Whenever You Need It
I don’t recommend staying on the Fat Loss 4 Idiots diet forever. It is a bit bland, but it’s so easy, you can go back to it any time you want. It’s especially good for losing weight when you have a special event, like a wedding or a class reunion, coming up, because within 2 weeks, you can drop 5-9 pounds.

My name is Ryan and my family and I have started this fatloss4idiots recently.
When we decided to start this program, we threw out whatever was left in the pantry, fridge and freezer that was not on the generated menu. That way there would be no attempt at cheating.
We generated our first 11 day menu, I took all of our weights and measurements of waist and hips. I documented them into a spreadsheet I created.
The first couple of days was pretty rough. Especially day 2 which was the just fruit day. By that evening we were all talking about how we were going to pig out at McD’s on our cheat day.
By day three we were into it, and adjusted. By the end of the 11 days I had lost 15 pounds, and and inch off my waist and hips. My wife lost a total of 5 inches, and my son lost 2 inches.
We drank plenty of water, we would reward ourselves every other day with a diet Dr. Pepper with our meal 3 ( which is our “dinner”). We walked briskly for 30-45 minutes everyother day.
On the second day of “cheat” we were actually all talking about how we couldn’t wait to get back on the generated menu’s.
And we did not go to McD’s. It just did not sound appetizing.
We did however, eat mexican food, cereal, and Pizza, other than that we ate baked chicken which we already eat on our generated menu, but with other mixed vegi’s like peas, corn and carrots.
We are starting our second 11 day cycle today and I’m looking forward to the meals again. Weird huh?
Oh..and the sausage and turkey we use are Jennie O’s, turkey bacon/sausage. It actually has a great taste without all the cal’s and grease.
I highly recommend this program. Best 40 bucks I’ve ever spent. Just think to take my wife and kids out to dinner at a local average priced restuarant costs about 65.00 bucks. This 40 is well worth it.
The only time that people want to be “losers” is when they want to lose weight. I am a loser and proud of it! I’ve lost 13 pounds and I feel like a winner!
